TX School voucher applications opening soon!

Many of you have been wondering and now the Texas Comptroller’s office has published its final rules related to the upcoming school voucher program in Texas. Here are some Things You Should Know about these Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA), also known as school vouchers!

  1. Applications Open February 4, 2026 and Close on March 17, 2026

  2. Funding notifications expected to be sent in early April 2026

  3. First awards will be made available for the 2026-2027 school year and will appear in accounts in stages (July 2026, October 2026, and April 2027)
